Milo's Great Mountain Climb
Milo was a little mouse with a great big idea. "Today," he squeaked, "I will climb the tallest mountain!" Of course, the tallest mountain was actually a small grassy hill, but to Milo it was a giant.
He packed a tiny backpack with three crumbs of cheese, two raisins, and a thimble of water. "Be careful, Milo!" called his mama. Milo waved his paw and set off.
He climbed past a busy ladybug. "Hello! Can you climb this mountain?" Milo asked. "It's too tall for me," she answered. "Good luck!"
Up, up, up Milo went. His little legs grew tired, but he didn't stop. When the wind tried to push him back, he held on to a daisy. When a raindrop landed on his head, he laughed and shook it off.
Finally, Milo reached the top! He looked down at the world. He saw his home, his mama, his garden — everything looked tiny and shiny. "I did it!" he cheered.
Milo ate his cheese, sipped his water, and slid down on a leaf, all the way home. He told everyone about his mountain. And do you know what? They all believed him. Because Milo had done a brave thing.
The end. 🌟
